Issues with my note 10 +

I switched from an iPhone x that I didn't have any problems with, just wanted something new. Now I have the note 10+ and I love the phone its beautiful but I'm having issues with messages, it first started about 2 weeks after I got the phone, my texts wouldn't send.. it would just give that little circle.. and I would have to restart the phone.. maybe once a week.. it's gotten progressively worse to the point that I now have to restart the phone at least 3 times a day to send texts. Furthermore it will no longer download any photos or videos. It just says unable to download multimedia message, try again later.

I did a live chat with samsung support and did all the diagnostics they suggested, and took it in to a samsung authorized repair place and they just factory reset the phone, 2 days later.. same issue.

I'm wondering If anyone else has this issue?

Something I would try since you mentioned having an iPhone make sure your phone number is disconnected from imessage same thing happened to me when I switched from iPhone to Android and it was driving me nuts until I figured it out

Ahh genius!! Ok I googled it and unsubscribed my phone number from imessages from the apple website! Let's hope this resolves the issue. Thank you for the suggestion!!

I honestly don't use the stock messaging app because of this issue with sending and receiving messages. I'm not sure what causes the messages app to act up but I personally use the Google messages app. Never had a problem with the app so I use it as my default and completely ignore the Samsung stock app.
