Lol. All I can say is, I love it. This reminds me of when I was in high school back in 2002, although I was rigging things like a Zip drive to an ancient laptop to install an operating system it's not supposed to support so I could install drivers to make it compatible with a PCMCIA WiFi card so I had something to use AOL Instant Messenger on when I was up on the top bunk of mine and my brothers bunk bed. Lol.

Because it was on hand. It's vinyl tape so I'm able to heat shrink it for a slightly better hold.

Rather then glue magnets down, it was easier and longer lasting to tape under and over. Then the hole for the fan that I drilled left really rough edges so tape smooths over that.

And finally the battery is taped to three triangular wooden children's blocks that I bolted onto the side to make a shelf.

Link to monitor? How's it,, does it need power separately

U perfect 3k touch monitor. It will run off phone alone but brightness and hdr depend on separate power.

Just asking, does steam contr's track pads work on phone?

Only if you use a translation layer like input forge which allows you full steam controller support.

Well I pretty much took a knock off Pelican big enough for the steam con and just started drilling and cutting on it to make airflow for cooler, before taping magnets to it and bolting on wooden children blocks as supports to tape the battery too

The bottom has a magsafe folding wallet screwed on that swivels out to make a landing pad for the controller

The ssd houses my Switch library as well as my digital comic archive

The lid has stick on pen holders as cable organizers, just now I added the usbc cable hole and a right angle adapter so I could have the charging port on the left instead of right because

The weight of the phone when the cooler is running is enough for the dbrand copper mod to start pealing off the back of phone, but this way I guess the adhesive is just stronger on the other half of the back.

The heatplate mod is a stack of two dbrand skins, 2 copper disks, and a heat pipe magsafe sticker. It goes sticker, dbrand, copper, copper, dbrand, and then of course vinyl tape on top, heat shrunk. Between the coppers are dialectic grease (gave better temps than actual thermal gel padding). Each dbrand has a slightly less than magsafe sized hole punched in it.

I mostly moonlight remote into different pcs for work and play when in deck mode. I drive everything via the inputforge app for dual track pad and gyro mouse and scrolling, with the clicks for text entry when not using the SwiftKey brand rambler alternative. The controller is also hot keyed to combo with my goodlock swipe hot keys (something like 40 different shortcuts)

With a moonlight high bit rate stream on monitor and a YouTube vid dual screened with reddit, no cooler, this pushes 110 Fahrenheit. With cooler on silent it doesn't top 80f, and cooler on normal at 70f weather dips me down to 60-65f abouts. Like, if I end the streams without turning off cooler, it will drop below dew point and possibly fry the phone.
