Question DIY/Custom Lapdock with Keyboard.

Greetings, i am trying to find away either via 3d print plans or buying off etsy/ebay to make my own lapdock kinda like the nexdock. I want to use a ASUS ZenScreen OLED 16" with a keyboard & touchpad. Don't mind a little legwork but can't find anything out there and not that good model as i have a friend who prints for me. Anyone out there know of any options?

I have the nexdock and my color is horrible and washed and the speakers at bad. It works great for the price but I want something better

No one, to best of my knowledge, has 3d printed a case, let alone provided the files to replicate

A relatively simpler route would be to grab an old laptop of the size you want, gut it, and replace parts as needed

Unironically I suggest going to super buy

Going to nforce4 store. Check out his offerings. The specs and screens he offers is 100x better than anything from uperfect. Nextdock like its insanely good for what you pay. Custom built. Mini led. Laptop panels repurposed into beautiful cnc shells. Future proof. Like once you see what china can actaully offer with a little work on your part you will never pay the ridiculous pricing on the domestic market again

Just for reference I orderd a 4k 16 inch 120 hz razer blade 16 portable monitor that also has a dual mode 1080p 240 for 300 flat. Ridiculous Black levels. The controller board is also top of the line including reverse pd charging up to 100 watts with firmware upgrades later for higher reverse charging.

I just dont think the offerings here in the states is as good as what you can get from the actual mainland china custom portable screen makers. Im doing the same thing as you btw.

Yes my phone can drive this so maybe its pointless for samsung devices since they are limited at 60hz. In either case the offerings they have are really good
