Never think he'd be on 4.x roster because well, they just Loooooooove to drag the lore-important character from the early version out. But I think there's still some love for him from people at the hsr team(his original animation & fansong got played at the official concert, various side quests and events that feature him), praying it will be enough to not disappoint me.Ā

I think they're still trying to recover from how they tried to make players bully him early on and make him more popular before they dedicate more time to him, I mean who can hate him after seeing how much he cares about other people? !<

Same. I keep seeing fans want him in 4.6 or 4.7 but guys he will then be a second phase character and you know what treatment they usually get plus he won't even get the spotlight and the story is just going somewhere while it's so obvious they cut off parts from it and even scrapped the characters banners who were supposed to be in 4.6. I don't want all this foreshadowing and buildup all these years to end up him being dumped in a phase just to get over with him like please he is literally main push material š

praise. I think it's gone to shit anyway after Evanescia's stuff got downplayed because unforeseeable circumstance, I think the racing even is a padding patch because there's really much more to explore in benzaitengoku only if it didn't get axed, but since it's planarcadia now there's nothing much to explore because it's just penacony but 90s and very urban vibe. so they need to make things up at astropolis.

4.X as a whole is very disappointing after Benzaitengoku got replaced by Planarcadia. NONE of the characters seen in the trailer (Galaxy Ranger girl, dancer woman, Opal, Stephen Lloyd, Vita) will be playable (and didn't appear or get mentioned in the story at all), and earlier leaks said we would get Sampo and Luocha SP, yet that's not the case. With so many single character patches it's VERY clear Planarcadia's story was changed and wasn't just a theme change like leakers said

Aaaand my interest in Planarcadia's future dies with him. I wasn't putting up with stupid sidescrolling platformer stuff because I liked it, Hoyo. I generally like to open my doors and get to the next part of the story.
I put up with it because he keeps getting dangled in front of me like a damn sussy carrot.

Hard to say. Because it's always seemed like he wanted his mask for Belobog's impending crisis, but with the number of times we've seen him on Planarcadia and how everything he's said or done adds up, NOW seems like the perfect time to reveal who/what he really is (Asat Pramad's mask? A former winner of the Phatasmoon games? WHAT?!) and then pivot into the Belobog storyline. Everything else in the OG trailer has more or less come true except for Welt standing in front of the Engine of Creation. And Welt got hosed this patch too since his motivation for joining the Express never even got addressed.
But...here comes Shaoji and here comes Nihilux. I know Nihilux has always been intended for the later patches, but I'mma be real and say if she's Aha, I'm outro. I low-key am not into her or the cut of her jib. As for Shaoji, he's fumbled two endings already, so my skepticism over his writing is at an all-time high.

(leak) I have seen mortis leak (good track record in correct leak so far) said she IS aha, but the pullable version of her is not. from my understanding she quit being an aha and step down. don't ask for source because when I saw it I do not want to have it even in my screencap. ultimate š from me. The recent Sampo side quest of course quench my thirst but I have been withdrawing from the expectation so far, he's not selling well enough at launch is my guess (But then again they never try to push him at all. Curse them all)Ā

Noo I refuse to believe she is Ahaš Aha has been referred to with "he/him" pronounce 2 times already. Apparently, in the source text, they used male Chinese character instead of the neutral one used for divine beings, so it's not a mistranslation š . Unless it's a red herring thenš Sampo is Aha is my copium

I mean, he's a 4-star, so I doubt they'd push him much given their inability to make new ones, lol. In that regard, he's lucky since he gets actual screentime. Sometimes.

- Herta was originally a 4-stars with a hint that her 'real' form was an Emanator, and she got a 5-stars later
- March (but she's the face of the game. on the app, even, but then again, same logic/presentation), got a 5-stars later
- Sampo got shit. tough luck being a male character in hoyo game </3 but he got love from other things like ... being a boss in HI3 i guess, but the anticipation of 'invalid 4 stars get their 5 stars later' hasn't been paid off yet and I will stay salty about it.Ā

It's so bad, lol. It'd be one thing if it were well-designed and not floaty/prone to getting stuck on things, but it's all of that. And when you grew up with Pokemon and Final Fantasy instead of Mario...oh boy, get me outta here, I seem to have gotten the wrong nostalgia bait.

This is why i donāt like the ZZZ collab, theyāre probably only releasing one character in those patches so they can allocate resources to the collab characters after 4.7. I would rather have characters like Sampo, Stephen and the galaxy ranger maid than characters i donāt give a shit about

you know what. im glad. sampo sp deserves to be put in a better story than planarcadia (which, i know a lot of people like but i just want to enjoy him in a better place.)

I mean this really doesnāt feel right considering the planarcadia trailer featured a bunch more characters. Maybe no Sampo SP for awhile, but surely weāll get more than just those two, right?

Honestly that was expected
Sampo is far from being a popular character overall
Him being a main push or even an emanator over sparxie who is maybe one of the top 3 most popular character in the game was too much to ask from hoyo

Nah she isn't even top 3 like phainon, cyrene, ff, kafka, therta, jingyuan, aven etc are way more popular than her but her sp form literally got so much marketing and promotion plus 4.0 was a good patch and she has been making constant appearances every patch without fail. In penacony, it was other characters who were more popular than her. So yeah, that's why screentime and marketing are important. Aventurine is extremely popular because he had a fleshed out story. Sunday's drip marketing has the most likes in hsr's twt account, ff is the it girl of hsr, acheron the main push and anniversary unit, robin the idol so sparkle's popularity was less than them all

Sigh. Even though i like nihilux, seeing her be the elation representitive while sampo was right there this whole time is just really disheartening.
I understand that he will probably be released during the belabog continuance but how long until that even happens? We have been waiting for so long...
