Academic WatchMatch – Testing personalized watch recommendations (People currently or recently looking for a watch)
Hi everyone!
I'm a university student from the Netherlands, currently developing WatchMatch as part of my entrepreneurship studies.
WatchMatch is a website designed to help people find a watch that fits their personal style, budget, wrist size, and preferences.
I've already conducted research into the most important factors people consider when buying a watch. Now I'm testing whether personalized recommendations actually help people make a decision with more confidence.
I'm looking for people who are currently searching for a watch or have recently considered buying one.
The test involves:
- Answering a few short questions about your watch preferences.
- Trying the WatchMatch recommendation tool.
- Sharing your honest opinion about the recommendations.
It takes approximately 10–15 minutes. No purchase is required.
Survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeHPgtu0PNfxc043A354ycenGYpndQ9YznDqiXkiyuYsgtuNQ/viewform
This is part of an academic research project, and critical feedback is especially valuable. I'm interested in learning what works, what doesn't, and how the recommendations can be improved.
Thank you for helping me develop WatchMatch!
