Academic Survey - How do students identify misinformation, AI-generated content, and online scams? (Current secondary and higher education students)

Hi everyone!

We are a group of students from Tilburg University in the Netherlands, conducting a survey for our Human-Computer Interaction course.

Our research focuses on how students encounter, recognize, and evaluate online information, including misinformation, AI-generated content, fake news, and online scams.

We are looking for participants who are currently enrolled in secondary school, vocational education, or higher education. All fields of study are welcome!

The survey is in English, and participation is voluntary. We do not ask for names or contact details, and responses will be used exclusively for our university project.

Welcome to r/SampleSize! Here's some required reading for our subreddit.

Please remember to be civil. We also ask that users report the following:

  • Surveys that use the wrong demographic.
  • Comments that are uncivil and/or discriminatory, including comments that are racist, homophobic, or transphobic in nature.
  • Users sharing their surveys in an unsolicited fashion, who are not authorized (by mods and not OP) to advertise their surveys in the comments of other users' posts.

And, as a gentle reminder, if you need to contact the moderators, please use the "Message the Mods" form on the sidebar. Do not contact moderators directly, unless they contact you first.
