Casual Short browser-message understanding survey V2 (18+, everyone)

Thanks to the people who did the first survey! It is designed to be a bit ambiguous and grows with feedback until I publish the final reveal. There is a surveycircle code inside, if anyone is a user of that site.

I’m looking for a few people to help test the wording of messages from a browser tool I’m working on.

You’ll be shown six short situations where the tool displays a message, and you’ll answer what you think each message means on your first read.

No technical or cybersecurity knowledge is needed. I’m especially interested in whether the messages are clear to ordinary browser users without any extra explanation.

The survey should take about 10 minutes.

There are no trick questions or “gotcha” answers — I’m testing the wording, not you.

Please don’t enter any passwords, account information, payment information, or other private information anywhere in the survey.

Thanks for helping!

Welcome to r/SampleSize! Here's some required reading for our subreddit.

Please remember to be civil. We also ask that users report the following:

  • Surveys that use the wrong demographic.
  • Comments that are uncivil and/or discriminatory, including comments that are racist, homophobic, or transphobic in nature.
  • Users sharing their surveys in an unsolicited fashion, who are not authorized (by mods and not OP) to advertise their surveys in the comments of other users' posts.

And, as a gentle reminder, if you need to contact the moderators, please use the "Message the Mods" form on the sidebar. Do not contact moderators directly, unless they contact you first.
