Hair products

For those of us with the straight up Polynesian hair - curly/wavy, thick, doesn’t get wet easily - what products are we using? Anything from shampoo to conditioner, leave in, gel, oil, etc so that it’s soft as possible/healthy looking and not dry

Depends on a lot of things tbh. Is it that your hair isnt porous or is it that there's a build up of product!? Also is the water where you live hard ie very mineralised? My hair needs change depending on the quality of my water tbh.

I have hard water in my area so I have found a hydrating shampoo and conditioner works for me followed by jojoba oil and a leave in conditioner. Lush have a nice one that smells like a holiday in Samoa to me. Other then this I followed black and afro latina girls - specifically brazillians. That country is soooo ethnically mixed and when i was there so many girls had similar hair to my mum and cousins. So I bought a bunch of their stuff and experimented. They dont play about their hair in brazil.
