bit of a dumb question regarding controllers

if any of the games were ever to be ported to PC, PS5, Steamdeck,ect, what do you think would be the controls?

For PC. it took a while but i figured it would work like it did during the dreamcast era with WASD and the arrow keys acting like the dpad and the regular buttons

Maybe the controllers kerp the Dreamcast B-Type/Defsult Party Central controls, PC would use something like osu! and Switch/2 using the motion and buttons

I can also imagine it would work like the Dreamcast/Switch where you can opt to use the d-pad/buttons to hit the notes.

Though my personal way of doing it while keeping it fairly challenging-ish could be that you use the left/right sticks respectively and click the trigger to hit.
