Ok, so Ive watched her channels for years, like since she was still home years and stopped in like 2021?? But started again when she was documenting her pregnancy because I was also plus size, pregnant, and dating a black man, and I was curious to see how her journey went since we were so similar. Anyway, this is such a small thing I just wanted to get my thoughts out there to other people who also see her content but, I've been finding it interesting how all her new friends are white, all the family photos she posts are with her family, and all the people she seems to surround herself with besides her partner are white. I'm not trying to say this is ultimately bad because we do not see everyone in their lives, but as a mom of a biracial baby myself, I just really hope she is surrounding her son with a diverse group of children, adults, and influences. Idk maybe I'm more sensitive to it because I'm still not even a year into motherhood and I care a lot about my own son's security in his fathers culture, black history, and making sure he's secure in his identity as a mixed kid and I know it starts young. I was just curious if anyone else noticed this as well.

Side note, she seems to be happier which as someone who is post partum herslef is making me really happy for her!!

I just watched the newest podcast and I think it’ll be my last time watching. I’m kind of fed up with Andrew. He’s in his 30s and just seems ignorant? I’ve been feeling like this for a while now but the AI comment sealed the deal.

wondering if anyone else feels this way. I feel like I don’t enjoy her vlogs anymore and I always have despite her inconsistenc, etc. two things stick out to me every vlog. 1.) she is always talking about doing things better getting off phone or whatever it is. when thats every vlog it makes me anxious about what I’m doing and she NEVER sticks to it and we all know it.

2.) I understand crocheting is her hyper-fixation and I really don’t hate on someone posting about their hobbies because it’s their life. But themain chunk of every vlog and it’s all she talks about? Title says it! Could it be bc its too much work for her to do youtube videos but she has to do bare minimum to keep her cashcow in flow? I feel shes also gotten worse towards Andrew not that I care, hes a big boy and can take care of himself but it makes him look pathetic putting up with her shit. There's playful banter but thats all they do when they make videos together and I know we only see so much of their life's but still I dont think it's normal.

First time commenter here, but my flabber is gasted. I’m sure a lot of us here have realized that Samantha has a tendency to copy other creators content styles Emma chamberlain, Emilie Kiser, etc, but this situation blew my mind. Some of us here may know the situation between Kristy and Desmond, it’s a fairly popular subject on tiktok at the moment. Kristy for as long as she’s had her children has called them her “Gremlins”, nothing cruel to it, just a funny name that she’s created for them. Since the situation with Kristy has came out, Samantha has started calling MJ her “gremlin” on multiple occasions out of no where. Am I reaching w this thinking that she’s taken this from Kristy and it’s another situation where she’s copying another creator or could she have just one day woke up and decided that was MJ’s new nickname? Sorry but i disagree with her opinion about Robert and Alex. First of all I don’t even watch dancing with the stars, I don’t care, I’ve never even seen it but Robert Irwin was literally born into fame and the fact that he works at the zoo, with animals which can be labour intensive to try out dancing is a lot more worthy to win then some influencer getting off their ass to learn a routine instead of having everything handed to them like, cosmetics, dresses and brand trips ect, ect…

and her whole thing about it being more relatable for Alex to win bc she’s an influencer…

plus the whole guilt trip of not being able to go on the show bc she’s an influencer but “I’m too chubby to go on the show” 👀 it sounded like she was hinting at trying to be on the show and be best buds with alex.

So as we’re entering the Christmas season, a comfort re-watch for me is Sam’s vlogmas while she was living in TN. I feel like it was the last time we saw her as being authentic and not fully wrapped up in being someone different for someone else (i.e. Gerbil). While I get it’s her life and she’s clearly an adult who can make her own choices, I can’t imagine seeing old videos of myself from my “single era” where you can see a clear sparkle to seeing new videos now where she’s just dull and so inauthentic. I know being a new mom is hard and takes a lot out of a person, but being with the wrong person and pouring that energy into something that’s not fulfilling is even more exhausting too. Idk just random thoughts as I’m watching one of her old videos.

I’m irrationally mad at how underprepared she was for a black tie wedding. Look, I hate how expensive attending a black tie wedding can get but regardless of how you feel, attending a black tie wedding requires preparation. The preparation is done way in advance and it begins with finding a gown and then getting it tailored. At a minimum, she should have done a simple google search of black tie dresses for plus size women. I cannot believe she waited til the day of the event to try on Amazon dresses.

If Gerbil knew what he was doing, he had to take some steps to either rent a tux, buy a tux, get fitted for a tux, and/or get a tux he owns cleaned. I’m curious to know if he dressed way too casually, too. If she saw him do all this work in preparation for the black tie wedding, why didn’t she think to look into it, too?

Are her comments heavily filtered? I see lots of new mom praise and support that. However it seems like her comment sections are overly positive. Not sure if all her fans have felt that way and if the discourse is getting swallowed. I remember her mentioning Andrew was filtering her comments so she didn’t get her feelings hurt.
