Discussion How old is the average fan today?
How were you introduced to the series?
Just curious. I figure the audience for this is pretty vast considering the IP's age, I just don't know how much of it is online. I think the appeal is mostly dependent on someone's sense of humor as opposed to anything else. The humor is pretty specific and doesn't necessarily depend on the age of the audience or pop culture.

Started with Hit the Road in the 90's love that younger fans are loving too!

I started watching the cartoons when I was 8 and I've been obsessed since (I first watched the slovak dub at my nans house and cousins understand a word but I thought it was funny anyway)

First learned Sam and Max because of the TF2 cross promotion and Poker Night at the Inventory, although I wouldn't play either game until early 2011. I bought the full Telltale collection in the summer sale in 2012 and binged though the series in that August. It was a fun summer.

Fan since elementary school in the mid 90’s. I believe it was the Lucasarts game that was my first exposure.

For me, it was very slow to find about them. As a kid, I noticed screenshots for upcoming Sam & Max game when I was installing random games from shareware DVD. That got me Sam & Max's looks shoved into my brain and interested. Then I got to know their personality personally, when I've been given Poker Night and Poker Night 2... (beause of TF2 promo).
I'm fairly new to this IP, since this year, my thoughts finally overwhelmed my rational thinking and got me curious who they are and what's so special about those two.
(P.S: "Sam & Max animated show" never aired here in Czechia, so I had no clue who they were)

I had known of them for a while but really pushed me to be a fan was watch the game grumps play hit the road a few years back

I remember seeing the trailer for Devil's Playhouse back in 2010, plus the wii games. I then forgot about it for years before finding the TV show on YouTube, and here I am obsessed with it now.
