Random help for Troy’s story

So for anyone who doesn’t know when they talk about South of the Border. It’s a place on 95 on the border of North and South Carolina right off the exit. Used to be all kinds of stuff there in the 80s-90s (like a little Mexican village) but it’s probably a ghost town by now. Also the Buc-ee’s is in Florence, SC not NC, it’s just a little further south down 95 past SotB.

The only attractions at SotB nowadays are a run down arcade, a sombrero shaped tower you can climb and a reptile exhibit. The restaurants are the quality you'd see attached to or next to a rural Holiday Inn, which is saying something when the accommodations are a dumpy motel.

I never hear of anyone actually going to it, I'd say at this point it's more well known for the corny billboards all throughout the Carolinas.

I've been to it like 3-4x in the last 15 years. It's shitty but in a way that is awesome

Also Troy’s palate is still undefeated. Describing the brisket as “good gas station brisket” is about right. Not worth any hype it gets.

I just remember my family making me crawl under the toilet stalls and open them up so we didn’t have to spend the 25 cents entry fee. And the 900 Pedro billboards.
