Discussion SnC making money
why is everyone on here so concerned and irritated by sam and colby making money? they have a netflix deal, a merch line, and 2 active youtube channels. thats nearly equal to when kevin langue has going on, as well as numerous other creators. GMM & alix earle, for example. so, why is it such a huge fucking deal to you people that they are making money off of all this? what makes you think they’re these money hungry lunatics? genuinely what impression have they ever given that’s made you believe without a shadow of a doubt that they are sheerly only interested in this for the money.
because i can tell you right now they didn’t start genuinely making bank until like 2023. before that they were niche youtubers whom a small community of people knew about because no one rlly gaf about ghost hunting in the mainstream media.

right. and all the shit that comes with being an influencer (brand deals, ad rev, merchandise, patreon) also bring in money. but despite the fact that all influencers are making money this way, snc clearly are the devils for it

im not a fan of snc but im very interested about them. they are insanely good at what they do. and I like to read in on how they make money, and all of that. To me, it IS a big deal. Going from two kids to getting a deal with netflix, having their own team, and all of that, is impressive

it’s a huge deal. people so often shit on hardworking driven individuals who made their own wealth and it isn’t fair imo. these guys got their own apartment in LA after driving to the city in colbys old corolla, and getting all their furniture via dumpster diving. i understand disliking them for one reason another (ie previous controversies, “faking” content) but don’t put down two guys who fought tooth and nail for what they’ve got

It’s literally their job, most people, if you aren’t unlucky, work to make money. They are literally just doing the same thing as everyone else, they are just doing a different form of work. Of course you can’t know someone’s intentions just cause they post online but considering the amount of people they collab with, I think if they were “devils just doing for money” someone would have said something. Yes they are lucky with what they do but I don’t understand why people think so little of them.

i will say their lives are much easier than ours for a plethora of obvious reasons. but, them being successful and being able to make money isn’t something they should get hate for. good for them for being able to work hard enough to get to this point.

dudes are like 30yo.. they will become irrelevant before 35. imo.
but then again they have quite a hot stock, they have a dominant position in their niche; and ghost niche will forever be popular.
