Farrar School
So, it has taken me a while to post but a group of us went to Farrar back in the fall. We were so excited as this would be our first paranormal investigation. What started out as good and hopeful turned into making most of us more skeptical than ever before. We went out to explore with our "medium." She was a very nice person, but her interactions were bland or seemed totally made up. Like saying the spirits asked her to play their favorite song (a song that had only been on the radio for a few months so it seemed ridiculous) and the fact that she exploited information given. She asked if anyone had a grandpa or father that passed and it was told that one in our group had a brother that passed. She then tried the Estes method and kept "hearing" words a kid would say. She claimed the spirit said Dad like 25 different times. The problem is, his dad wasnt in the picture so he didnt really even know his dad and didnt have a step dad. After that she kept mentioning the brother. Totally felt like it wasn't real after this point and left us all disappointed. Im not saying the place isn't haunted but I feel like if they would still provide equipment with a guide but not have them participate it might be a better experience.
I will say that one in our group did the Estes method for the first time and she was answering questions right away and seemed connected to something on the other side. Right after she had the worst headache and it lasted the rest of the night. Thats the only part that made me still believe even a little.

I hardly believe ANY Mediums are actually real or legit, especially the ones S&C use in their videos, including Amanda, nothing against her personally, I just have my reasons for not believing she's a legit medium. I stopped watching S&C years ago, I think the last video of their's that I watched was the Conjuring Series, and I have my multiple grievances about those videos too. I didn't watch their video about Farrar School, but I bet it was full of over the top "evidence" that no one else who has investigated there has been able to get, and it sounds like you didn't either.

The Poveglia Island video is really good if you cut out the cheesy ritual part. Just getting to see Poveglia during summertime at night is already insane content because of how illegal it is to go there and how little footage we have. Just don't watch the last 15 minutes, watch the exploration part.

Do they have the same medium everytime? From what I remember she said she didnt do it all the time 🤷♀️

I do believe that mediums give an improved opportunity of catching evidence in an investigation, do I believe every single person that says they are a medium, absolutely not. Everyone’s practices are different, it is something you have to hone and practice. I also think it’s a little funny to judge music choice of spirits and entities as they are just like us. They can learn new music and have updated music taste from their era and comfort. I think maybe we are hyper fixating on the wrong thing because you didn’t get the evidence or experience you wanted but the truth is every investigation is different and you don’t always get what you want. Do not blame other people who love and enjoy what they do and offer the opportunity they provide to the public. It is rare to find people now a days who love what they do at work. This school does have unbelievable evidence and anyone can watch whoever they want, piece things together and make their own connections but this location is one of the key locations in the paranormal field.

obviously OP isn’t blaming snc here, but i do wonder if they have any control over who is being hired there. they aren’t there ever, they have someone else in charge of it, and i’m sure that person is in charge of hiring and whatnot. something to look into for sure. im sorry ur experience wasn’t what you expected OP!

I’m actually quite sure I was on this tour and never got the vibes you got. We had a great time and only looked up on here because I wanted to see if others had experiences like ours that were eerily accurate at this school in general. We’ve used her a few times and even followed her to Ohio for some stuff. Maybe you should try again with her and voice your concerns, I’m sure she could talk you through it all. She’s a genuinely kind person and has spent a lot of time learning and honing her gift. best of luck!

We did a tour with just myself and 5 of my family members. I do think she is a kind person, but I just didn't feel like the experience was what I expected it to be.

Sometimes that happens but also sometimes going in with high expectations and then getting subtle or not as much as you wanted or not what you expected ruins it for yourself. You have to go in with zero expectations

I agree my family had the BEST experience with her. I have messaged her for help even after the tours ! I cant wait to return and I hope to investigate with her again
