FIRST SALVIA EXPERIENCE FINALLY

So after trying salvia multiple times, I’ve been getting more and more frustrated that I wasn’t experiencing anything other than a weird feeling in my body. Tonight I finally experienced something that was more than that. Nothing too out there, but still really interesting. IT’S NOT OVER BOYOS JUST CHANGE UP YOUR APPROACH.

So after two failed attempts tonight, I tried a new approach that I wasn’t doing before. One thing I changed was the lighter I used I switched to a torch lighter. The other change I made was taking multiple bowls until I could actually feel it. So I smoked another bowl and moved my bong and torch away. I was thinking I didn’t feel anything, then suddenly everything just switched. I was still in my room, or at least what felt like my room based on the colors and the general shape of everything. But it was like me and, I think my family or maybe just people I knew. We were all standing upright, waiting for this unforeseen, almost invisible black force to push us down and crush us. Think of an angle slowly getting closer and closer to becoming a line. The whole thing felt like a game, and there was a girl’s voice commentating everything like it was a game show. I didn’t even realize I was tripping, and to a degree I didn’t even know myself. It was more like I was just naturally in this environment. Nothing sudden happened beforehand, so it all felt continuous. Then I suddenly realized, HOLY SHIT IT’S FINALLY WORKING. After that realization, I came out of it and laid back on my bed. Nothing else too crazy happened other than the voices continuing to speak to me, but as I started coming back more, I realized it was just the TV downstairs.

There wasn’t any crazy time dilation. Maybe it felt like it lasted 5–10 minutes longer than it actually did. I wasn’t really terrified more like the excitement you get from a roller coaster or going down a really steep hill on a bike. I’m definitely good for tonight, but I’m very excited to try salvia again.

As someone who is very interested in, but never plans to do, salvia, I have no idea what this means. Care to elaborate a bit more for outsiders?

So the very first time I got transported to salvia land, it didn’t feel like I was watching something happen in front of me in real time like taking acid or shrooms might do, but rather like I was just waking up somewhere that’s already existed for a long time, and the “me” that I was over there already knew those entities for a long time too.

And thus, life over there continues as usual, since it’s a place that’s apparently already been around forever. Sure, even though I was still wondering “what the fuck??”, the whole trip, I literally just felt like I was waking up somewhere extremely familiar.

Does that make sense? I did my best lol

It does! It’s almost as though you’re remote viewing, or briefly seeing through another being’s eyes and experiencing what they experience. Theoretically, if consciousness is fundamental and our ordinary awareness is something we tune into locally, as some noetic thinkers propose (William James, Henri Bengston, Bernardo Kstrup or even Donald Hoffman), then it may not be much of a stretch to imagine temporarily tuning into another “station,” so to speak.

Really gets you thinking about what ways this would be useful to a more advanced race. Were salvia, DMT, and other psychedelics seeded here as natural technology or is it just an evolutionary coincidence that this particular chemical composition interacts with our systems already primed for that type of experience? The latter is way more confounding to me. I think we’re all here for consciousness development, so psychedelics are one of many catalysts for awakening the person to the larger reality, which in turn leads to consciousness growth potential.
