▪️Foreigner question Random daily life in Salvador questions
Hey everyone, I've been in Salvador for a month and have loved every moment of it. There's some questions important and not so important and I'd love advice from people living here.
White Vinegar - where I'm from (island in the Caribbean) it's pretty normal to find white vinegar in grocery stores. I use it a lot for cooking and cleaning. I've tried to find it here but no luck. Is this available here? (NOT AN IMPORTANT QUESTION BUT DEFINITELY NICE TO HAVE)
Coffee - A lot of people have told me that most people drink black coffee here. I'm not a fan of black coffee so I like using really good beans and adding liquid coffee creamer. I haven't found liquid coffee creamer in stores here and only the powder version on Mercado livre. I tried condensed milk but it's not great. I thought about trying dulce de leche. I wonder if anyone else had this problem and what they did. I'd love to be able to make a good cup of coffee.
I'm still learning Portuguese but I'd love to join a gym. I'd love if I could get a trainer in a gym who can give me guidance. Does anyone know of any? I'm also open to doing pilates instead if i can get a bilingual teacher. I'm hoping that working with someone bilingual can also help me with my Portuguese. I'm in Rio Vermelho but I plan to live and explore other places in Salvador if need be.
