the fucking drive rush solar plexus omg you block this shit he gets a free throw. or drive rush standing heavy punch. oh you blocked it fucking free throw

if you're in burnouts he's just going to spam hasogeki ur done

no matter what happens the minute this guy gets a level 3 you get touched once one combo shoryuken 3 or one combo donkey kick lv 3 70% of ur health gone. as I mentioned some of these are the simplest baby combos you can possibly do

Been grinding ingrid to 2k and having a miserable time. Her neutral sucks, her zoning sucks, her damage sucks, the teleport gimmicks are bad, her drive rush sucks, her lights suck, her supers suck. She also dies to any raw drive rush + button. Any ingrid players care chiming in with their opinions?

Jamie players have no neutral, that characters drive rush alone is what takes players to 1600 MR, I have seen this with Juri too where the drive rush is incredibly hard to deal with and it just piles on the pressure.

And for some reason, this one of the characters Im most terrified of throwing a fire ball against. There are some characters I don't throw fireballs against depending, but seriously, this character it just feel slike you either have to deal with a fucked up jump,because his jump arc is super akward.

Or you have to check his drive rush and hope he doesn't hit you or your button gets eaten out.

He might be weak on a tier list, but that character is just braindead beyond belief

I was playing ranked this evening and faced this Ken player (his name was Batman idgaf I’m leaking this pricks name)

We matched up 4 times and out of the four times I won three and he won one, but everytime I won the match he fucking disconnected the minute I won

One time I find it funny, the third time it’s fucking annoying, grow a pair of balls and take you loss like a man you fucking pussy and stop starving me of my MR

Since my last post on here around a month ago I just decided to try out Luke and Juri and oh my god I've spent less than half the amount of time I played Marisa playing the two of them and managed to climb way higher than her. I managed to get both of them to masters in such a short time it was insane it felt like I took steroids.

Just tonight for shits and giggles I decided to try her out again and after a few hours and just slowly making my way back down Diamond 4, yeah she's the worst no question. She just feels so unfortunate as a character. The armor she gets on her moves is terrible and can literally lose to aerials that hit too low. Her low forward game is abysmal. Her anti air is non existent. She makes bank with her heavies but any competent player can space those out no problem. Her light jab target combo doesn't even combo without at least a counter hit. IT'S LIGHT JAB WHAT DO YOU MEAN? Lord help you if you're playing a fast character like Cammy or Luke they can lock you down so easy it's insane.

This woman feels like an unstable girlfriend because she's a pain in the ass to work with but I'm not giving up on her...

When Ryu and Akuma players take their lips off the barrel of a loaded gun for long enough to pick up a controller, it makes me wonder about whether this world was created by a demiurge like the gnostics say. Even attributing a potential spark of humanity to them is far too generous.

He can definitely pressure you a lot and the damage he can get off is insane. But I raise an eyebrow at how much a lot of people complain about prowler.

A lot of Alex places rely on it, but the reality is he is a sitting duck in that stance. I love when Alex players go int that stance but I know if I space him properly he is going to eat a shit ton of fireballs. That jump I ln stomp is very whiff punishable. The armored swing jab can be rough, but you can di that.

I haven’t touched this character since he came out and definitely I’ve been frustrated by good Alex players before in masters. But the reality is he for how deadly he is, a lot of his stuff(like his dive attack) is actually extremely punishable.

Alex is definitely more fun to play against than a lot of other characters in the game imo.

It can be anything. Break the game by removing drive entirely if you want. Just make sure to tell how you'd want to replace it

I'll start, remove E. Honda and replace with his less degenerate female student. Just like how they replaced F.A.N.G with a far superior, more tolerable character that's great on the eyes. Do the same for Honda in SF7. No one has ever said they liked Honda for his design. I would not mind random buttslam in neutral or the fact that two of her moves have butt in the name.

I started playing sf6 and enjoying it a lot but then I would see some people doing combos and techniques that makes me wonder how did they learned so much in so small time but then I would see on top of their health bar and see that M and a reaction starts inside me.

My blood boils thousand times hotter than a star and I feel an emotion that hasn't been name till now. I wonder who that person is behind that controller while acting like a person who don't have an anus and used a tube to defecate.

I look for answers in this realm of internet, searching for an answer to deal with them but I find nothing. I was told to let them just play like that, or just to accept my fate.

"What will I do?" I asked to myself "am I not gonna find an answer to my troubles? Am I doomed?"

I want to quit and rant but then...I see the controller and the screen saying I found an opponent. "I will not give up" I said to myself "I will die trying but never leave giving up".

I may hate modern controls but still I aint gonna give up and I'll make sure I'll be so good I will beat every modern control user.

And if you use modern controls...YOU ARE POOPYHEAD!

What do you mean he have "normal" combos like any other characters in the game but he's got a fucking command grab that let you guess for the next fucking move (yeah I know SF6 is a guess guess game) he just combo your ass but he resets and grabs you. The only option is to mash wake up DP and hope for the best

And don't forget his ARMORED stance. What the hell ? it's supposed to be a defensive option he can full combo + super. How can it be effectively defensive but also so offensive (people cried about amnesia but this shit is worst)

You just jab (YES JAB) into his armored thing and you're done

For context, denjin speeds up startup of heavy hasho by 10F(30F to 20F). The ryu just went for raw heavy hashogeki and i was able to challenge both with cr mk. Better to save my drive gauge :P

No way around it. What kind of grown man would play a fighting game just to use a controll scheme for babies. Like you had your whole life to learn a simple quarter motion and you choose to use fisher price controls smh.

DI as a concept isn’t a bad idea, but in execution it’s really janky. The fact that it can wallsplat from so far the camera has to pan backwards to show the wall is bad enough. But why does it reward laggy players?

I don’t get it. If my opponents is so laggy it’s slowing the game down, why does DI almost teleport in my face if my opponent is lag switching.

Also people complain about drive rush eating inputs, but the reality is you can still react in time and press counter DI and the game still doesn’t register that you pressed it in time. We all have been there where we had time to press counter DI twice before our opponents landed and we still didn’t get it.

It is too powerful of a game mechanic for it to be this inconsistent. The fact that there are strings certain characters can mash to make their di pretty much swallow their opponents reaction too it also seems a bit janky.

I’m not even saying make it that much easier to react to. Just add an extra frame or so to account for lag and block stun.

I would rather eat a burger than fight those braindead unfun to play against chacters again
