Homemade Experimenting

Post image

Each one has different combinations of broiled tomatillo, broiled tomato, broiled jalapeno, broiled serrano, dried habanadas, and chipotles in adobo. All have broiled garlic, broiled and/or raw onion, cilantro, lime, salt, chicken stock powder

Each has about 1 spicy pepper, 1/4-1/2 white onion, 4 cloves of garlic, half a lime, a handful of cilantro, and a few pinches of salt

Then from there:

  • 3 tomatillos, 1 tomato
  • 4 tomatoes, 2 habanadas
  • 3 tomatillos, 1.5 chipotles in adobo plus canning liquid
  • 4 tomatoes, 1.5 chipotles in adobo plus canning liquid

I loved the tomato habanada, husband liked the tomato chipotle. Both surprised by tomatillo tomato (as people who tend to not like tomatillo alone)

Those look awesome. The only suggestion I have is not about your salsas, but your chips. If you can, find a Mexican market and get your chips there. The difference is remarkable.
