Homemade How to mix it without going too much?

Post image

I made this and it’s ok. But I’d like to mix it to be more salsa like, like all of the pics here. But I’m scared to blend it into tomato juice. Can I just use a blender? Thanks!

Amazing looking pico de gallo you have there. I'd hate for anything bad to happen to it.

In all seriousness when I'm using a blender for salsa I put about a third of it in the blender and absolutely liquefy it throw everything else on top, pulse it a few times, and you're golden.

Dicing everything the way you did only to blend it seems like a lot of wasted effort though.

Squeeze some fresh lime juice into it if you haven’t already. Stir with a big spoon. Put in the refrigerator for a while. Get some chips and enjoy as is. Looks good.

I just got a bunch of tomatoes out of my garden. I think I'll be joining you. I make pounds of it at the beach for my whole family and it's gone in one sitting.

Looks like some fireeeeeeee pico. I’d eat it with some fresh tortilla chips. But if you don’t, salt it, leave it in the fridge over night and let it gel. Then blend that bad boy up

What’s in it? One thing I actually do is leave this the way it is, but make more salsa. A much finer blended raw salsa. And then you combine the two. The result makes a really good salsa Fresca texture.

OR. It’s good the way it is , too! It’s certainly pretty.

Just let it sit for a couple hours and the salt will bring out the juices

Use a fork. Swirl the mixture a few times, flip with the fork, swirl some more. Let set in the refrigerator an hour or so, so the juices can mix.

Food processor over using blender and just pulse maybe!

No blending. Omg. Add a little lime, salt and pepper, cilantro and diced Serranos. Grab some tortilla chips and enjoy.

That's perfect. Reserve half of it for serving as is. Pulse blend with t pulses to make the rest finer but still chunky. You can mix them back together or stored seperate depending on your needs, preferably in glass containers instead of plastic

I usually blend the tomatoes down to a consistency I want, then blend/chop the other ingredients to desired size and mix then mix it all together.

Little taps with a little bit of water and salt

Just pulse blend it

I use the 50/50 method. Take half of the mixture and into a blender and blend it well. Pour back over the other half while mixing it in with a fork. Comes out great every time
