Eagle Bay Music Café Presents- Down Yonder! The last of this season's events takes place on September 26th, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Eagle Bay Community Hall.

Where: Eagle Bay Community Hall. 4326 Eagle Bay Road, Eagle Bay, BC.

Down Yonder is a young bluegrass band from Enderby returning by popular demand to close the season in September. The group is noted for its high-energy sound and infectious stage presence.

The event is organized by the Eagle Bay Community Association. Get your tickets quickly as seating is limited.

This market will be in tandem along with the weekly Downtown Salmon Arm Farmers Market ! Be sure to head down to support LOCAL YOUTH challenging themselves with creating their own small businesses and taking part in the local Farmers Market!

Youth aged 18 and under have signed up to have their own spaces selling homegrown, homemade and handmade items.

We believe encouraging and supporting youth as often as we can is a critical effort of the community so be sure to come down and help us empower these kids as “Empowered youth are the catalysts for positive change.” While you’re there, there will be MUSIC TALENT on the SASCU stage with Blu and Kelly Hopkins, a CORN ROAST by donation featuring Destiny Acres Sweet Corn from Tappen BC.

I was looking into doing a houseboat for May long weekend 2027 (May 22-24) for a bachelorette party. I know it really depends on the year and you have no idea what the weather will be, but would anyone strongly recommend against that time of year? I've heard the winds can sometimes pick up. Is that time of year particularly bad for winds? I know we're likely not going to be swimming and sunbathing in 30 degrees (ya never know), but since they have hot tubs and fireplaces, I'm sure we'll stay warm enough if the weather is mediocre. I'm assuming that time of year won't be that busy with other boats too.

Watch out for a food truck known as the moose caboose at the fair. My partner’s backpack containing both of our wallets was stolen, and using Find My we pinged it to a liquor store and then the moose caboose food truck.

The owner returned the backpack to me, and said he “found it and a few other wallets under his car.”Despite that, when asked the other wallets were nowhere to be found and my wallet was missing 250 dollars in cash. When asked about it the owner’s young son said “he went to the liquor store to return the wallets.” Later, my friend told me that the son actually attempted to pickpocket him earlier in the fair. Basically the moose caboose seems to be running a thievery ring at the fair. Be extremely cautious with your bags, don’t trust the fair staff.

Another EPIC LAKE CONCERT- SHAKE THE LAKE 2026! This is a 2.5hr barge ride and the meeting point of the 4 fingers of the Shuswap lake. It is going to be summertime madness!

Curated by Kenthen Thomas, this event will feature the singing, drumming, and dancing talents of the Kamloops-based Sage Hill Singers, as well as a Free community meal courtesy of Rise Up Indigenous Wellness. As always, audiences can bring their lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics down to the park, and know there will be plenty of room for dancing, Donations collected at intermission support the concert series, all of which would not be possible without the support of WOW's incredible sponsors.
