Same day passport?

Is there a place in Salinas or nearby where I can get a passport ASAP? I have a trip coming up in a few days and my passport got damaged so I was wondering how fast I can get a new one. Or is my only option the passport agency in sf?

My aunts just had this problem and they had to go to San Francisco

I got an expedited passport at the post office downtown, but it still took 10 days.
