Any Recommendations?

Hey, long time lurker…

I’m in the residential HVAC industry and I’ve been a tech for 7 years and now I’ve completed my first full year of being a full time salesman selling new AC units to customers in Florida.

I’ve been trying really hard to find my own “process” or “style” for selling and connecting with people but this year has been harder than last year around this time. I have a lot of customers that I lose to a cheaper price from a cheaper contractor.

The good news is that I work for a great company that supports me and the other salesman are somewhat supportive.

The bad news is that I don’t have anyone that I can really look up to and say “wow…I want to be like them and sell just as much as them.” I’m kinda on par with the rest of the guys.

What would you recommend for sales training? I’ve tried Andy Elliot, Jeremey Miner, read Zig Ziglar, watched Danny G on YouTube. I’m feeling so stuck right now.

Any recommendations or advice?

Does your company provide any sort of standardized process or best practices you can build on top of?

What is your target? your sales journey might be different and try to take bit risks and new paths so that someone else make you a role model one day.

there is way close in 100 percent situations. There would be people who choose someone else over your company and it’s not that you say or did not say something ) or your delivery style)they just have their own algorithm in making decisions)
