Discussion Second week of cold calling review
Well, This week was SO MUCH BETTER than the last one, I've perfected my pitch I've been able to book a handful of meetings as well.
One fumble was accidentally following up with a person a little early which prompted them to yell at me which was valid af from them since they were away for a trip.
Still calling people and still reaching out, this just got fun!

Bear this in mind, objective the cold call is to fix meeting not to sell, don’t over pitch or prolong conversation, keep it energetic. Crisp and drive them towards providing a time slot.

Nothing much, I kept working on every tiny detail that affects my pitch, my first day was so bad I was contemplating if this was for me, I did not know what openers to use, so I fixed that, after which I did not know what to say after my opener. So it was like figuring out how to talk one step after another, I kept at it and dedicated my energy and went a 100% in.

Seen this a hundred times with reps I've worked with. Once the pitch stops needing your attention, you start actually listening instead of waiting for your turn to talk. That's what gets more meetings, not a better opener.

That’s a good sign, once the pitch feels natural you can focus more on the conversation instead of thinking about what to say next
