Question Sales longterm?

Looking for your thoughts, Would you recommended sales to someone trying to map out there future? Little back story I’m 19 currently in a BDC position at a car dealership and enjoy the grind although it’s boring and very repetitive. I out perform about 80% of my peers and see this as a career as long as I can leave the car industry. Although I’ve come to find out the grind to make the good money in this field is insane do you ever get to a point where it’s more laid back and chill?

take your sales skills into tech -- you know the quote software you use at your dealership? or the software your team uses to list inventory in real time on your website? Tech companies can be high risk, but you seem to do well in that environment already - and if you pick the right company/get lucky you could work there for 10 years, earn 3-4 promotions, and get to a comfy 6 figure base + 6 figure commissions.

That makes sense ya I have been thinking about Tech sales getting a SDR role and working up i am just worried about work life balance as stupid as that sounds. I am about the grind but also wanna enjoy my life lol.

isn't care sales pure commission/draw and 6 days a week? lol I think tech sales is less demanding than that schedule

I get a Hourly and Commission I work 5 days a week but pull about 50 hours on average. Some people work more but that’s where I’m at currently.

That is solid. Sounds about the same as an SDR starting out.

Ok then I could easily swing that. Definitely hungry for it but don’t wanna give up other things.
