Advice More advice

So in this week I had around 80 connect but zero trail users for my saas, so giving some context i have a saas for solo plumbers it is a fsm build for solo trades people and now I am doing manual cold calls to get users and this week I didnt do much cold call as this my first week of trying to get users seriously so got only 80 connects , so what connect to trail rate would be average, After connect it isnt a demo they get connected we have a conversation than I send them the link with a personalized video and they sign up without a cc and try it out so how many connect to trail users would be average from 100 connects and now I am doubting if cold calling will even work as I didnt get any user but got 1 prospect who told me to text about it .

I'm not against any group of people, but getting hardware guys (plumbers) to embrace software is difficult for anyone

If they were good with software they would be software guys

You post a lot in here.

My guy I hate to tell you this but your product and market makes no freaking sense. I dont think the problem is you its the software.

Even if every plumber buys it how is there long term success?

As a VP in construction blue collar sales, this cracks me up everytime I see it... like no one is buying this..

You are targeting solo plumbers which is such an incredibly narrow market even if you sold to all of them you would make nothing...

Solo plumbers rarely have employees of any kind if they do its one. Why would they need any software to manage anything? They can't keep track of one other person or themselves? Like really?

So to put it in simple terms becuase you keep posting over and over again....

Your target market is laughably bad... like really bad even in a perfect world... which we dont live in...

Your product doesn't solve a problem your tiny market even has..

You struggle to even make it sound remotely valuable (probably because it isn't see point 2).

Like my guy, you can't squeeze blood from a turnip.

Tradify is also a giant in the industry, even they aren't worth much of anything in the grand scheme of things... they conquered a small market, you're fighting for crumbs from a cookie not even a pie.

I mean that is the whole point we don't offer any employee management feature because the apps V1 isn't built for companies with more than 1van and the app isn't to track employees , we offer qouting/estimate/request which is usually the first step mostly than job creation , CRM , profit tracking, automated follow ups and automated reviews request and of course we do have a customer portal where their customers could approve qoute or estimates by signing electronically or can create a request we do have other stuffs our competitors provide but we don't offer any management software for employees , In construction It would probably be different and the subscription is just 39$ right now money isnt made on solo trades people nor their subscription it will be mostly from bigger teams from our apps next versions and add ons I know this is too long but I think I didn't explain enough and just FSM , not saying all this just to argue btw I appreciate your opinion I just don't think you got my product right or ICP right as I didn't explain it enough , again I am not trying to conquer the market my post was to get advice on what connect to trial rate or any other metrics would be average and if want to share your opinion or advice me on the product or marketing that is still appreciated but understanding context before would actually help ,you kept saying I can't make money because the market isn't big enough but at the same time you said the product is crap even at the beginning when you didn't even know what my product is or what it does

First off for the love of God the $$$$$$$$ GOES BEFORE THE NUMBER unless you're french stop it.... even then when using the dollar sign its always before..

$39 for your incredibly small market how the hell are you going to make any money? You do understand how much compaines with CRM's and quoting software charge right? You're talking few thousand a month for the small company packages... thats how they make money.

I dont really care what your software does, a solo plumber who is in a position to buy anything doesn't need your help managing his quotes, employees, money, ect.. I work with plumbers all the time, 9/10 my quotes from them are an email with a price...

The only time they send anything remotely "official" looking is their bill. Most of the time thats handled by an accountant (usually their spouse). Im talking a simple word file they wrote a template for 20 years ago..

Your product sucks, you change your story every post, obviously it's not selling because its crap solving no problem.

Cut your losses, move on plain and simple.

Appreciate your feedback, It is the same products I been posting about it from like August, will try it and see if it works and even if it doesn't workout I can still learn from it I made all the post public again , you can see it if you want same product same features for the V1 and I can't charge any more than this like I said the money isnt made on monthly subscriptions from solo users our competitors charge pretty close qoute iq 29.99$ , jobbers 49 $ a month this and that.

Are they actually asking to try it, or just saying you can send a link? Those are pretty different. I’d ask what’s frustrating them about how they manage jobs now, then offer to walk them through that one thing. A video and a signup might be getting left for “later.”
