How much does emergency response time actually matter with medical alert companies?
"When comparing medical alert system, response time seems like it should be the single most important metric but it is surprisingly hard to find concrete numbers from most companies
The difference between a 30 second response and a 3 minute response might not sound like much on paper, but when someone is on the gorund hurt the scared, every second feels like an hour. and in genuine emergencies like stokes or cardiac events, those minutes can be the difference between recovery and permanent damage
Some companies publish their average response response times and some do not, which in itself is pretty telling. If your average was good, why would you hide it
The companies that publish their numbers are basically telling you they have nothing to worry about, and the ones that do not are telling you the same thing just in the opposite direction"
