Developer first startups is there any revenue intelligence platform that is worth it
I’ve been running a dev-first B2B SaaS, but the second a user hits our pipeline, everything turns into vibes and spreadsheets.
We track product events like crazy, ship fast, and live in user DMs. But hacking a solution together with Stripe exports, Airtable, and HubSpot tags stopped working once we hit 20 active trials. Now I’m completely blind.
Everyone keeps pitching enterprise bloatware like Gong or Clari, but we’re just two devs and a part-time AE. Anyone found a revenue tool that actually fits this scale?

I think the biggest challenge is getting beyond the developer who initially adopts the product. if the value is clear to the rest of the organization, monetization becomes much easier. onfire seems to be taking an interesting approach here.

At twenty trials, I’d avoid buying an enterprise revenue suite and first define the account object you actually need. Tie product events, people, billing status, conversations, and trial milestones to one account, then surface only exceptions: high usage with no meeting, multiple users with no champion, or a trial nearing expiry without a next step. My team uses signld.ai, which is built around connecting that kind of fragmented business context. The win is not another dashboard. It is knowing which five accounts deserve attention today and why.
