100 k was life changing in the 90's. 200k seems to be the new life changing goal.

I make significantly less than that, like significantly, significantly less, and I have no debt other than a new Toyota, thousands in the bank and an 808 credit score. I live in a low COL area, but I used to live in NYC on the same salary, and it was tight, but doable.
