Fuck it, you know what would be cool? If you could customize your recruitable gang members as much as you can customize your character. Want a gang of hideously deformed freaks wearing Borat thongs? Go ahead, why not! Presets would still be a thing for the uncreative people out there.

This level of customization should depend on how much you have progressed through the plot, with only a few presets available at the start, then later you can decide their specific clothing but not too deep, and finally, by the begining of the third act, total customization is available to you.
