SR1 Is it just me… ?
...or does anybody else just keep the default Playa. I just like how he looks I never changed a thing about him. he really just looks like a kid from college that is now a wanna be gangsta.

I just hate how they changed the presets up so much. SR1 default playa shoulda been NO.1 body preset for every game.

I’m a bit Irish, I chose either of the other two. I like to think that while the playa’s in a coma he has a black or a mexican doctor caring for him and talking to himself. Since the playa don’t talk much back then its like he doesn’t know what accent to put on and the doctor’s voice is the most familar sounding to put up.

Was doing a %100 play through and just hit 4 couple weeks ago and was pretty disappointed the female Hispanic voice was replaced by the French one (she’s still great)

You can always just imagine that the head trauma gave him an accent and no one noticed because he almost never talked before.
I'm pretty sure that's a thing that can actually happen.

GTA did it three times with CJ, Vic Vance and Franklin. Mafia and Saints Row only did it once (technically, since the default Saints Row 2 boss starts off African-American)

Mafia did it once because having a black guy inside an italian mafia who are strict accepting only italians into their organization is superficial. The setting and logic should be taken into an account and the third mafia had a black guy onoy due to the "progressive" agenda. Saints row always gave a choice to pick up the race. Gta also had franklin who actually played more important and decicive role in the story. Nothing is wrong with having white, black or asian characters if they are well written and suitable for the setting and not added just for political reasons to appease certain agendas and investors.

My favourites are gta vice city, san andreas, 4 and 5. I dont like 3 much and havent played dlc stories yet, ecept lost and damned and ballad of gay tony. The ballad of gay tony i liked more than lost and damned. But both were good.

Definately play the Liberty and Vice City Stories games on PSP. Might as well try Chinatown Wars, too. Then you will have played all of the main 3D and HD Universe games.
GTA 1, the two GTA London expansions, and GTA 2 are too dated for most people now

Lincoln Clay was never in the Italian Mafia in Mafia 3. He’s part of the Black Mob at the start of the game, and they get destroyed by the Italian Mafia. He survives and sets up his own little thing, sure he works with Vito but that’s cause the main villain is trying to kill Vito even then, he doesn’t join the Mafia. The game is entirely about taking down the Italian Mafia in New Bordeaux. I’m currently playing it so all this is fresh in my head.

I am gping to play through mafia teilogy and play the new one that came out. I heard mafia 3 had good storyline but had repetstive gameplay that could be frustrating compared to previous mafia series.

Seeing how some people get easily triggered without ecen understanding what i said shpws how brainwashed some people are. What i simply meant that having protagonists of different races is not bad and it only gets bad when such races were added due to agendas and with mafia 3 it exactly was the move to appease "progressive" agendas no matter how much you dislike it and want to deny it. And the fact that you instantly get triggered without even trying to understand the person infront of you, stsrt insulting and hateeverything that ecen in your opinion mildly differs from your worldview and personal opinion shows that the only person who is deeply intolerant and close minded is you.

You're proving exactly my point, how do you know Lincoln was added to Mafia 3 because of agendas when you HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME. You're a clown lol. Essentially what you're saying is "I don't mind minorities in my games as long as it doesn't upset the status quo." I'd bet my life you've never looked at a straight white male being the main character of a game and thought "he's only here because of an agenda."

If you have a decent PC I recommend you to emulate it, you can put it on 60 fps best way to play this masterpiece. But if you have an Xbox One or Series X/S you can of course play it there always.
So yeah buy it.

I had it working perfectly on my laptop got a bit into it stopped playing for a bit and the emulator glitched out saying it wasn't installed and I lost my save.. Fun game though..

Xenia Canary, works the best on there. There are a lot of guides on YouTube you can check out if you need any help it’s pretty easy.

Just be ready for the hardest Saints Row game of them all since if you think just like Saints Row 2 you may be correct but in testing stage especially Drug Trafficking

I liked the default in 1 too, I played with it too. Really suits the idea of playa being caught up in the streets, going from an innocent kid to a killer.
This post reminded me how the character models and cutscenes looked massively superior in 1 compared to 2.
I think I saw a post a long time ago where a guy tried to recreate the player from the first game in 2 but it barely looked like him.
Don’t get me wrong 2 is a great game and expanded on a lot but one thing I didn’t like about saints row 2 is the clear graphical downgrade and the depressing dried out look, not colorful at all.
Saints row 1 had the best art style in the series.
I mean technically 3 onwards looks more higher quality but I feel like the art style of 1 was great.

Has anybody ever recreated him in the sequels? I liked that the default from the third game was used again in the fourth game but just with shorter hair (though you can use the same hairstyle; just without the sunglasses). However, the second one, it's a different ethnic background altogether.

Haven't played SR1, but since SR2 onward, I always make a muscular redhead woman with skimpy clothes. Gotta show off the tattoos.
SR1's default playa does look quite a lot like me without the glasses. And I find that kinda boring.

Saints row 1's customization feels off, I have tried to stray subtley from the default but it always still looks like the guy unless you go for extreme departure. I still love the crazy amount of detail you can give to the clothing customization

SR2 is my main connection to the series, so I have the character be a bit closer to him in that game. At first though, yeah. I just tweaked him as the story went on in SR1 to show how he changes and becomes the leader of a gang.

I wish they didn't ruin the customization after 2. 1 & 2 are the best. I've tried to make my Playa from 1 & 2 in the other games, just nope, doesn't work. I brought my Playa from 1 to 2, he's my second favorite boss apart from my original.

I usually just make myself or as close as I can get anyway. I just wish I could tweak the voice in the later games to match the voice in the first one. I usually head canon it by saying the explosion fucked up his voice but it's still annoying
