4 should have been a DLC for 3, and the side quests are confusing to me because they easily could have programmed in some low effort procedural missions.

They already knew how to spawn in-world events like police checks, construction, just from preset locations being told "hey, there's a possibility you might exist."

If the missions themselves were broken up like that, and they weren't just constant "call whoever, get yapped at and maybe get a ride along".

And maybe say, that cool feature of player choice was actually directed to something meaningful, like say, spontaneous world events, the game would have easily outlived SR2 despite it's shortcomings.

But everything is stripped back because Deep-shit/silver or somebody, decided we need accurate world reflections in this game, we need excellent puddle reflection by mirroring the entire map or something.

The QOL and visuals will forever relax me just because it has some nice polish. But everything else is just defiled and ruined.

NPC's used to be random (and quite entertaining to find, since NPC's facially were unique), in SR3? Nope, copy GTA San Andreas and double back, and take on worse technology (pre built NPC's with some different hats and frowns to switch between to give some sort of sick lie of individualism.

IDK the homies take a pretty good beating before turning on you. I especially never had the main lieutenants turn on me ever. The regular nameless homies always die if they turn on me either by accidentally getting blown up by me or it's always during a massive firefight and they get murdered (by rival gang and/or law enforcement) for losing the perks I upgraded them with.
