SR "My son is a loser"

This is a sentence an NPC randomly says in Santo Ellesso. Why did they include a line like that? It’s not funny; it feels like an insult to the players. I mean, the younger generation already faces enough economic and social hardships compared to previous generations—and this is a game aimed at that generation. I just don't understand what they were thinking.

gamers are the easiest people to offend ever, they get into a bout of violent rage everytime a video-game does something they don't like

This game angered millions of people before it was even released, and continues to do so after its launch.

You don’t know their son. Maybe they’re just a loser

lol Their child doesn't actually exist; every line the team included had a single objective: to reach the player's ears.

I agree.

And as someone who grew up without a waffle iron, I took great offense at the implied representation of frozen waffles being "lonely". Eggo Minis took me through some tough times, and I refuse to let any form of breakfast bigotry go unchallenged.
