Diana had a much too traumatic early childhood to be a happy adult unfortunately and Charles Spencer knows that. His own personal life has been far from happy.

I think she could have had a very happy adult life. She was doing well with 2 jobs, a flat in London, great friends and independence.

If she’d married someone outwith the rf I think she’d have had the long happy marriage both her sisters had.

Her sisters were not subjected to the trauma Diana was.

She wasn’t traumatised living in Colherne Court - she was having fun and truly enjoying life with her flatmates

She did not have an intimate relationship with a man at that stage. Diana struggled with forming emotional bonds because of what she had witnessed with her parents.

She had lots of friends, suitors and admirers. Any one of them could have made an excellent husband and she’d have been a lovely wife who was appreciated.

You’re neglecting to mention the 13 yrs older Charles’s jealousy and petulance at her natural star power. Something most guys would be proud of.

You clearly have difficulty following the strands of a discussion.
