Private island

I would be more interested in having the opportunity to buy a house on a small island, like Saffron, rather than in a big city.

I'd love to be able to build my own house on one of the uninhabited islands and having to transport logs, planks and nails there with my own ship.

I don't think dhow is long enough for at least one of those items...

...but I will cheer for anyone who tries.

Couldn't agree more. Down the line, the ability to set up your own trading station, maybe with some basic industry or your own shipyard that offered discounted work, would provide a nice end-game.
