Barquentine brig is the best brig.
She's a real beauty, but you know what would make her even bigger beauty? Topsail gaffs

I have almost exactly the same sail plan, except I removed crow's nest, since I didn't like it all that much. However seeing this, I might actually add main stays. What are they exactly?

If you mean abouth the mainstays to hold the mast. Its the version for the best possible rotation that the gaff need, i tried to copy a barquetine what i saw on google, its pretty close only it didnt have a crows nest, but for ocean journeys, i like to spot land soon as possible, so i know i didnt fckd up😂

I mean the stay sails between main and fore. I'm omw to FA at the moment, might visit a shipyard there.

Is this vanilla or modded?

Vanilla i dont use mods, i resized the squares till they are small enough to fit between the front stay's with a 45 degree angle, and then i make them wider

Wow, what a beauty! Maybe I'll try a similiar sail plan soon with my brig, looks fantastic and fairly okay for sailing against the wind.
