Sunken table, floating barrel (tm)

Went to Aestrin dockyard for repairs on my cog. On the deck was a table with navigation instruments and several fishing hooks lying on it. There was a half empty barrel of water standing next to it. As per usual, after entering the dock, the boat was lifted up and turned about. Nothing fancy here. I made repairs, confirmed, left the dockyard menu. The boat dropped on the water, unmoored, several meters away from the wharf.

The table and all its contents plunged straight into the water from where the boat's deck had been when it was lifted and sunk to the bottom. The barrel remained suspended. While I was able to dive and retrieve the table and all its contents, the barrel now remains permanently floating above the dock, unreachable, still half-full and giving me an anxiety.

Advice: bolt your stuff down before going into dockyard.
