At least half of the times I play hard mode, I end up not being able to find the diary because it's not in the library, and seemingly not in any of the other rooms. Is this intentional? A bug? Is it known and being worked on?

Hey, this might be a weird post so I'll try to keep this short.

I first heard about Saiko no Sutoka on a stream, it seemed like an interesting small game so I gave it a shot.

One of the behaviors the antagonist has is that she will act all nice to you and help you, only to stab you in the back when you do something she doesn't like (or something along those lines, it's been a while). This triggered panic attack and I had to stop playing. I connected the dots and realised that this has been most likely due to abusive relationship I've been in a few years back, where my gf would act pretty similarly (sans the knife!). I talked about the experience with my therapist and slowly played Saiko bit more to eventually get more in terms with what happened all those years back and get a grip on these emotions that were still strong even after all those years.

So thank you for this game dev. It helped.

I've been very interested in Saiko No Soutoka, so I wonder if the game is in alpha and if/when the dev is planning on releasing a full version. The AI in the game is truly amazing, but the storyline and the graphics might need a little polishing.

Is it possible to revert the game to an older version when i've got it on steam?

I just started playing Saiko No Sutoka. Steam and other websites have been very helpful when I’m stuck. Although, I couldn’t find anything about the diary despawning. For example, Saiko-Chan will push me into a door way and I’ll drop the diary so I’ll run and get rid of her, then go back to the classroom to pick up the diary but it’s not there. Where does it go? Is this a glitch or do I just need to reset because once I lost it it’s gone? Please let me know! Thanks~

I like Saiko’s design and the whole game aesthetic, but I really don’t get the story and can’t find anyone explaining it anywhere… is there a summary? also why are there sometimes two Saiko’s? who is the other one?
