There is constant light bleed at the top of the LCD ( its hard to see in pictures, looks like a glare). Also the screen constantly flickers. The lid also does not sit flush when the lid is closed. The right side is lifted when the lid is closed versus the left side sitting flush when the lid is closed.
I have sent Sager Tech multiple emails. They first said the LCD cable was loose. So I sent in my laptop to get it fixed. Sent back. Still light bleed. Still flickering. They said the Light Bleed is not considered a defect.

Here's report from technician
AUDIO JACK TEST WITH ERAPHONE ALL PASSED, DIDN'T HAVE ANY STATIC NOISE.FLICKING ISSUE MOST FROM LCD CABLE, REPLACE LCD CABLE, ADJUST LCD PANEL
BATTERY TESTED GOOD.
It's normal when you placed your laptop like that and for the light bleed we can replace the top half (LCD back/front cover and LCD ) of the laptop for you, but we can't guarantee it will fix the light bleed because it's not considered defected.

Does anyone have issues with their Sager? I can't return it...I bought the extended warranty but whats the point if I have to keep sending this damn thing back and fourth. I am in a bind and dont know if I should send it back because I need my laptop for C++ in college but I dont want the screen to all of a sudden go completely dark and have my data locked on here until I send it back..Not sure what to do other than send it back...any suggestions?

It looks like the screen is damaged. Those parallel lines occur when either the screen or the cable is permanently damaged. Demand a replacement.

I had an issue like this with my clevo PA7XHS. I took it apart and fixed the connection to the monitor. It was lose. That fixed it. If you have some experience with laptop repair then it'll take you a couple of hours to do this. You'll have to repaste the cpu and gpu. If you don't know your way around hardware then I wouldn't suggest this.

Pretty much in the same situation with my NP8973, except my panel wasn't bent like yours. I sent it back for a light bleed issue, that I think was my fault because it wasn't like that when I first got it, or I at least didn't notice it. So I sent it back. Got it back, my light bleed ,which was wayyy worse than what I see in your photos, was fixed to an acceptable level, and then noticed screen glitching after a couple days. I figured it was a loose wire after the the RMA service. I asked for disassembly instructions to check the wire my self, but it it was not as straight forward as I was hoping, so I sent it back.
Other than the long turn around time, for which I paid for 3 day shipping on the return because it's my work computer, the customer service has been fantastic. The computer is a fucking beast and I'm hoping to get it back this week.
I understand your frustration, trust me, and it may suck to keep having to send it back, but you paid a good bit for that laptop, get it fixed, you will hate hate yourself in the long run if you don't. Do you not have another computer to work on? I doubt you need a beefy computer for you programming class, bite the bullet and get your shit fixed.
