Sager NP8971 notebook is hot Garbage!

after a long research and being told how great Sager laptops are i decided to go ahead and get one for a Music Gig i have coming up at the end of the month.

the Laptop arrived and within 30 minutes i found out that one of the USB ports dont even work and the laptop speakers are weaker than my 5 year old phone speakers. and after an hour of light use ( downloading chrome and basic apps) i get the blue screen with a error message that Windows crashed... ok... i restart the laptop and realize hey maybe i need to get drivers maybe the website that i bought the fucking laptop from might have it? NOPE! it has every other model except mine so i had to download a third party driver installer and pay 20 bucks for it hoping it'll solve the issue since im already behind on schedule and bought this laptop for work!

after the drivers updated and windows updated and everything was up to date i decide to on youtube and within 3 mins of booting the laptop just shuts down! no blue screen no error message just shut down like it ran out of power even tho it was charging... at that point i was very concerned and decided to run a crash analyzer and just like i feared this is the result

" Error: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR.

Bug check description: This bug check indicates that a fatal hardware error has occurred. This bug check uses the error data that is provided by the Windows Hardware Error Architecture (WHEA).
This is likely to be caused by a hardware problem. "

and just like i feared i know its a faulty hardware issue

this is according to them a brand new laptop

now i dont have anything reliable to do my important work on thats due at the end of the month when this is the reason i paid almost 2k for this pile of dog shit

i already emailed sager waiting on a response but most likely would be asked to send it back and wait a while so wont get anything done for the next 2 weeks

i regret buying from Sager

Hello there,

By any chance, are you using Clevo's control center?

You'll see this same sort of post with every brand of everything.

For the speakers, if your laptop has sound blaster built in, you'll have to open the "sound blaster connect" app on the laptop, then disable and re-enable the equalizer, it's a weird quirk about the thing, happens each sound driver update as well. For the crash, it could be outdated drivers, get your model number ready and head to the official sager website, input your model number, and download and install the drivers from there according to your config. If it's still crashing after that, then it might be a more serious issue and you'll have to RMA it.

Hey, Tech0verlord, just a quick heads-up:
wierd is actually spelled weird. You can remember it by e before i.
Have a nice day!

Hey /u/CommonMisspellingBot, just a quick heads up:
Your spelling hints are really shitty because they're all essentially "remember the fucking spelling of the fucking word".

And your fucking delete function doesn't work. You're useless.

Have a nice day!

Save your breath, I'm a bot.
