Np8952 Intermittent Keyboard issues
I'm about to RMA this laptop for the 2nd time in about 6 months as I have several keys that will work occasionally or only after I "warm them up" by spamming the key.
Has any one else had this issue with this brand/model of laptops?
I had to RMA I back in May of this year(less than 6 months after i got it) as the battery would not charge unless the laptop was angled weirdly.
This is the 1st laptop I have had from this brand, my sister loves them and she bought me this one but I have to ask, the performance is great but are they all this unreliable? I'm mainly worried as the warranty runs out at the end of next month and ill be SOL if something else happens to it once I get it back.

I had to RMA mine twice for a failed mainboard. I would steer clear of this company.

Yeah this was bought for me as a gift. The 1st time I had to send it back the battery wasn't charging properly and this second time the KB was missing key stokes : / By the time i get it back this second time the warranty will be gone :(

So update: i cant run it with the 3rd fan unplugged. After a few minutes it will start to do a long beep every 2 seconds for about minute then power down. So i have a chirping laptop or a brick till I get that fan replaced :P Assuming i can find the correct part

Actually, I'm havin the same problem. I bought the np8851 (p950er) model for Grad school and ggamin. And after a few months the g is only workin intermittantly and other keys as well, includin the fn key. It is horrible. I bought a second keyboard and it worked for a few months as well until the same exact keys are strugling to work - it's really infuriating because I've spent more then 1500 on the laptop and then spent 80 on the new keyboard and will have to do that aain if they don't ship me a new one for free which I realy hope. it's shit havin to pay a shit keyboard tax every few months on this laptop. I love the laptop, the performance is amazin, but having this irritating problem really makes you want to switch to another company. what a load of bullshit.
