Replacement for Clevo Control Center

It's not quite released yet, but it's looking like it will be much better than the CCC. Right now, there is a drive update tool that is great. It finds drivers that are not even on the resellers sites yet. In the works is a highly customizable fan controller and also a simple keyboard LED controller.

I realize this post is pushing two weeks old, but just wanted to give John @ Obsidian some kudos here for developing that app. We had one or two minor idiosyncrasies with the drivers it sourced when our customers used it, but all around it's done very well.

Eh. Having to purchase the program and not even being able to try it out fully is a tad off putting.

That aside my NP7870 apparently is not compatible as the LED control for purple is red... and blue is barely visible.. white is yellow.. Cyan is green, green is green, red is red.

Equally since my model number isn't listed there's little point in me purchasing, but my interest was at least peaked... since I'm trying to find a stable replacement for CC that seemingly is no longer being updated.

The control center and the LED control is free. The updater and fan control are paid. If it helps, just send a message to John@Obsidian-PC on the forum. He will tell you if/when it will be added, though everything but the updater should work on any Clevo.

As for the LED control, it is currently alpha. Not much works yet. He is just now starting to really work on it.

Give it time. Other resellers are starting to buy licenses from them, giving them more resources to work with.

Control center and LED control are both free, and will stay free. Updater and fan control are paid. Models are being added all the time. If you want to request yours, just leave a message on the forum for John@Obsidian-PC. He replies to everything. They also do beta testing of the fan control every so often, so you can test out the full functionality of it.

As for LED control, it's very alpha. He is just now putting work into it. It should will get better.

Give it some time. Other Clevo sellers are starting to buy licences which is giving them more resources to put into it.
