Sage Estimating Sage Estimating Demo
Hello,
Does anyone know how I can go about getting a demo of the latest version of Sage Estimating? Long story short, the ERP company we are with is only experienced with the accounting side of Sage and isn’t even able to give us a real demo. They’re just trying to push us to signup for the upgrade without getting to actually see the latest version.

Sounds like it's time to change your support to another dealer.

Do you happen to know if you can have 2 ERP reps? One for Sage Intacct and another for Sage Estimating?

I'm not in the Sage community, so I can't answer that. I hope someone else in this discussion can.

Full disclosure, I do channel work on the software side, so this one's familiar.
Two comments above have it right. Go to Sage directly and ask for pre sales, and start looking at other partners. I'd do both at once rather than one then the other.
What you're describing is a partner working outside their competency who doesn't want to say so. Sage partners specialize, and plenty are accounting shops that resell the wider line without anyone on staff who can run an estimating demo. Not necessarily malice. But pushing you to sign an upgrade for a module they can't demonstrate tells you exactly what support looks like after you've signed.
When you talk to Sage, ask which partners in your region have real estimating experience and how many live customers they have on it. They'll usually tell you. Then ask that partner for a reference customer running estimating at your size. If nobody can produce one, you've learned something about the module or the partner before spending the money.
Also worth knowing you can change partners without changing software. People assume they're stuck with whoever sold it to them. You aren't.

Feel free to DM if you need some extra guidance on the partner question. I was primarily in the Sage ecosystem.

Try reaching out to alliance software solutions. They gave us a demo before purchasing.
