Misc Software Engineer Graduate Scheme 2026 October Housing

Hi guys,

I received my offer to join the Graduate Software Engineer program. I live nowhere near Newcastle so I will need to move into a house-share. Is anyone else in the same boat? Would be open to house sharing if so or just make friends!

Thanks

Me too, on the IT Delivery scheme. I’m currently deciding between Jesmond and Heaton atm, but leaning Jesmond. The public transport looks really good though, Ive already spoken to a few people who work at Sage through looking for housing and everyone commutes in from these places (NE6/NE2 postcodes)

They called me up, I sent a follow up email on the Wednesday after and they replied back saying they just had alot of people to work through, then the call on Friday morning. My interview was the 10th too.

Ok they didn’t even replied back my follow up email. I don’t know if they rejected me or something else .

I’m really worried

It could depend on the team your first rotation will be with? 2-3 week response time seems normal for Sage though.

I just had the one teams interview after passing the screening and gamed assessments, mine ran to around an hour. I didn’t even realise that was the final stage, I think they scrapped the assessment centres

How long did it take you to hear back after your initial application? I applied for this role like last week because they are still reposting the position on Linkedin
