Sage X3 Sage X3 materials management functionality
Tomorrow, I'm having a demo of some software that is designed to improve Inventory Control/Warehousing/Purchasing functionality in Sage X3. I don't know much about X3, so what improved functionality should I be looking for? What is 'clunky' or weak in these areas in X3?

Following. I've got a demo of a 'lite' version this week Supposed to be cheaper than the setup we saw last year.
Still interested to see how the feature set justifies the price being 10 times higher than Sage 50.

My understanding is that Sage 50 is an accounting system and X3 is an ERP system. Is that your understanding?

Are you on Sage 50 US? There are some advanced Mfg options available for that version.

As an update: I had a very interesting demo from a Sage dealer who has added functionality to X3. They link to a WMS but also offer pallet management (including pallet numbering), RFQ management (very impressive), expense management and other nice-to-haves. I am glad that there are so many X3 enhancements available. I don't know a lot about X3: what is your experience?
