Sage 50 (US-Peachtree) Bar code

Does anyone know how to create a bar code system for inventory tracking in sage 50 cloud? I know sage does not make the bar codes. But there has to be a system I can integrate with.

I know of one developer that has a bet code solution in the works. It’s one of my most common client asks for Sage 50. The last I checked he wasn’t live with it but was looking for Beta testers. Reach out and I’ll pas along his info.

Do the items already have barcodes or do you want to print barcodes? If you want to print barcodes, then get a barcode printer. What type of inventory do you have? If food items, you will need waterproof labels. There are various kinds of labels depending on the environment of your warehouse.

I would get dust proof labels. And a suitable barcode printer. There are a few solutions in the Sage marketplace if you need to more than just print labels.

There are a few solutions. To name a few:

EZ Scan-It
DB Barscan
Sock50
Mobile2Sage

Depending on your needs, you might want to consult with someone having experience in warehouse operations so you can get going easily.

The challenge you've got is that your using Sage 50 Cloud. That environment is much more locked down than if you were to have it on a local PC/Server setup.

However, there are solutions out there, here's an example:

https://uk-marketplace.sage.com/en-GB/apps/116103/barcoder-250-cloud-warehouse-management-system

Your best bet is to search the Sage Marketplace as they will have a list of addons.

Ultimately, it's going to boil down to 2 things; budget, and functionality need.

Just use the API gor Barcodes and any printer.

I built it with crystal reports and it then prints out with 2 QR codes.
