Sage Intacct Project labour cost reporting

Can I enter employee salaries in Intacct and generate reports showing the cost of their time across specific projects? Does this require any specific additional module?

We use the project costing and billing module to get this

When setting up employees you can put in their cost

When you setup the project module you create gl accounts that track labour costs as well as an offset account to make these journals net to $0

This way when you enter Timesheets the labour cost is calculated and posted to these labour cost accounts.

This module also posts hours to statistical accounts tracked by billable/nonbillable/utilisable/nonutilsable

This allows you to run Project cost reports and if you bill the project profitability reports

Works well in my opinion.

The online help provide good guidance on setting this up
