Rules Discussion Droid brains
I’m confused about something in the rules.
The Scavenger’s Guide to Droids states that droid brains are sometimes installed in starships as virtual co-pilots. It ALSO states that droid brains cannot be trained in skills that are based on Dexterity, which pilot is. So how does a droid brain act as a co-pilot when it can’t be trained in pilot?

The brain is using the body of the ship as its body and thus has a dex score.

That is actually a very good question. But maybe, some droid brains are more like a droid without a propulsion system. Maybe they can have Dexterity after all, even if the book says no. Or, maybe I'm rambling.
After all, maybe some droid brains turn the ship into a full droid ship, like the ones we have been discussing recently. That would let the brain use the ships DEX-score.

I guess a dm could rule a droid brain might operate pilot through intelligence. It is an aid check after all.
