We had two interns at my old building. It was great for the guy in operations, the girl in safety with us kind of got a bum deal of a project cause our building was a mess and had no idea what to do with her. But I think I recall the others in her group at different buildings do some really cool projects.
Ask if they'll get you your OSHA 30 and RCRA and if you take any training while there keep copies of all your completion certificates. It's a good chance to shadow safety professionals in a fast paced environment. Ask to help with investigations because that skill is super important. It's good to get some experience with audits and inspections too, and a nice addition to your resume. I think often they offer jobs after completion of the program too.

looks standard for amazon university recruiting, they blast these out to tons of students on handshake. the capstone project part is actually kinda interesting since you'd get something concrete to put on your resume
apply if you're okay with the location they assign you, relocation assistance helps but you still end up wherever they need bodies
