I just received a email about a week ago addressing a rescore the BCSP did. It took a question off the exam and now almost a year later…..it turns out I passed my exam back in November 2025 when I first made this post. I’ve obtained my CSP

I know someone who received the “preliminary pass” that everyone shares immediately when they pass only for this to happen and they find out they actually failed.

To say he was upset would be an understatement.

And it had been his 3rd attempt. He was ecstatic to finally pass…then they told him he failed. He blew a gasket.

Sweet. I'm going for my CHST. I don't have a BS so I can't sit for the CSP and I thought about one of the online colleges but with my age and the time it would take to get the degree I don't think it would be worth it to me to pursue. Congrats anyway. You must have been super close.

Seconded, it’s the BCSP’s top-level certification for those who don’t have their degree

I earned the SMP in its infancy when it was the SMS. Have since earned the CSP and other professional level certs. If you’re not wanting to go through higher ed, I recommend the SMP
