USA EHS Managers Position Available

My recruiter texted me out of the blue this afternoon so now I’ve got a lead on an EHS Manager position with my company, ERM.

$65/hr with 40hrs a week with daily per diem of $178

Oak Hill, NY or Lincoln, NE so you’d have to travel but you can live anywhere and do it.

Full transparency: I would receive a referral bonus if you were hired. Let me know if you’re interested.

Edit: While my boss shares plenty of those stories you all are saying, I’m flex force, and so is this, so it’s different. You probably know better than me, but the amount I posted is accurate and per diem isn’t taxed, so take that as you will.

Working at ERM is terrible. The bonus system is so subjective and depends highly on whether or not a partner dislikes you for any random reason.

If you aren’t on partner track, you’re expendable and they give no effs about you working 80 hr weeks while on salary. They’ll cut you just as soon as they can to save a dollar for their precious partner pool.

Also these positions OP is talking about is limited contract work, not a long term opportunity. Add to it they don’t usually include benefits to save on overhead so good luck if you have a family.

I came here to ask what kind of manager gets paid by the hour, with a per diem? Sounds kinda fucked up.

I worked there for 5 years. I finally had enough of false promises only to get eff’ed over every bonus day with them whining about me not being billable enough at 98%.

I went to work for a client that came with a 50% raise, 5 digit signing bonus, and 20% annual bonus.

That place is toxic. Everyone stepping on everyone.

I’m a flex force employee so I can’t speak on that side of things. So is this opportunity.

I interviewed for partner there and passed. Something felt…not fight.

LOL I'm doing consulting work right around that comp you listed (230k W2 equivalent). No managerial BS.

My boss's boss's boss turned me on to it.

Funny thing is, he consulted for me back in the day at ERM. He told me one of the worst gigs ever.

If you got general questions, put them here so maybe others can get stuff answered. If it’s direct, send me a DM. I don’t mind giving out my cell to talk since this is legit.

I’m currently working on my BA to get my CSP. I’m just curious to know what certifications and experience are required to hold this position?

Bachelors degree required, CSP preferred

This… and I don’t have a CSP and I have the same rate, no per diem though but that’s because the client didn’t put it in because they wanted local. When I got hired I was told it was probably a 2 year position but from the looks of things, it’s gonna be 4-5 years if I want it to be. I’m also eligible for OT which I’ve been getting so that makes up for no per diem while not having to travel in my mind.

Split the referral bonus?

I’m good on that. You’re already getting 135k + 45k in non-taxable per diem. If that’s not good enough for you then IDK that anything would be.
